E-Divyagyan is a multidisciplinary bi-annual journal published by KGI, dedicated to promoting original research and scholarly work across diverse academic domains. The journal invites quality research papers from Computer Science, Information Technology, Home Science, Art and Humanities, Agriculture, Education, Commerce and Management, Pharmacy, Sports, and other related disciplines. It serves as a platform for academicians, researchers, and professionals to share innovations, insights, and developments that contribute to academic growth and societal advancement.
Author guidelines, adapted for Journal E‑Divyagyan, based on common standards from similar academic journals:
1. Manuscript Types & Length
Original Research Articles: up to 4,500–5,000 words (main text), plus abstract, references, tables/figures.
Review Articles: up to ~5,000 words.
Short Communications/Case Reports: around 1,000–1,500 words.
Letters to the Editor: up to ~800–1,000 words.
2. Language & Formatting
Write in clear, scholarly English.
Use Times New Roman, 12 pt font, single or 1.5 line spacing.
A4 page layout with 1-inch (2.5 cm) margins.
Single-column format in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) preferred.
Remove author names and affiliations from the manuscript for double-blind review.
3. Title Page & Cover Letter
Title Page (separate file):
Full title of the manuscript.
Author names with institutional affiliations.
Corresponding author’s postal address, email, and phone number.
Cover Letter:
Confirm originality and exclusivity of the submission.
Explain the manuscript’s relevance to Journal E‑Divyagyan.
Optionally suggest 2–3 potential reviewers with contact details.
4. Abstract & Keywords
Abstract length: 150–300 words (unstructured or structured).
No references or abbreviations in the abstract.
Include 3–7 keywords immediately after the abstract.
5. Main Text Structure
Introduction: Define the problem and research context.
Materials & Methods: Sufficient detail for reproducibility.
Results: Present findings clearly without referencing other works.
Discussion: Interpret results in relation to existing literature.
Conclusion: Concise summary of findings.
Acknowledgments: Credit funding, assistance, and declare conflicts of interest.
6. Tables & Figures
Numbered and titled; placed after references or embedded as per template.
Tables: Simple layout, no vertical lines, 9 pt font.
Figures: High-resolution images with captions; insert in text or append.
Cite all tables and figures in the text (e.g., "see Table 1").
7. Units, Abbreviations & Style
Use SI units and correct symbols (e.g., mm, µm, s).
Use superscripts (e.g., m⁻¹) for units.
Use hyphens (e.g., 2‑merous) and en dashes for ranges (e.g., 4–6 months).
Use "×" for multiplication, not "x".
Define abbreviations at first use.
8. References & Ethical Standards
Use Vancouver citation style—numbered in-text references with matching end list.
Limit references to ~50 for research/review articles; fewer for shorter formats.
All submissions undergo plagiarism checks (Turnitin/iThenticate).
Declare conflicts of interest, permissions, and ethical approvals if applicable.
9. Submission Process
Submit via the journal's online portal (or email if specified).
Include:
Cover letter
Title page (with affiliations)
Anonymized manuscript
All required forms (authorship, copyright)
High-resolution figure files (if required)
Submissions undergo double-blind peer review by typically two reviewers.
10. Peer Review & Revision
Double-blind review process.
Revision period typically 1–2 weeks.
Final evaluation after resubmission.
Proofs sent post-acceptance—review carefully; no changes post-publication.
11. Open Access & Fees
Published under open-access licenses (e.g., CC-BY).
Article published online (and print if applicable) with download links.
No changes allowed post-publication—author responsible for errors.
